Their guest is Eric Ripert, chef at Le Bernardin star of the PBS show, Avec Eric, and author of the accompanying book of the same name. The discussion covers Chef Gordon Ramsay's treatment of chefs on his TV shows and alternate ways of nurturing chefs and other staff in a restaurant situation. They also discuss travel and its effect on the creation of new dishes in restaurants, as well as Chef Ripert's new show and its unique format.
