Gary Allen is a food writer, an adjunct professor at the State University of New York's Empire State College, and presides as Web Master over the internet presence of the Study of Food and Society. He is the author of The Resource Guide for Food Writers and, more recently, the herbal reference book, The Herbalist in the Kitchen.
