Linda Faillace

Author, Mad Sheep

Fran Wood, columnist for the Newark Star Ledger, recently was outraged by one NJ towns approach to ridding itself of pesky Canadian geese. The geese were lured into a box and then quickly, their necks were broken. Ms. Wood thought this was over the top, and that the geese had done nothing criminal. Of course not, they are animals not humans. fwood@starledger.com.

Linda Faillace is a writer, shepherdess, songwriter, and owner of a country store dedicated to supporting local farmers and locally grown food. She has studied mad cow disease since the early 1990s. A champion of organic and sustainable farming, farmer's rights, and strong local communities, Linda lives with her husband, Larry, and their three children in East Warren, Vermont. Linda Faillace along with her family went up against the USDA in order to protect their small family farm and their sheep that they imported from Europe.

The Restaurant Guys

Who Are The Restaurant Guys? Every week, Francis Schott and Mark Pascal host the Restaurant Guys, a show that's as informative as it is fun. Francis and Mark own Stage Left Restaurant in the heart of New Brunswick's theatre district, and, along with their expertise in a wide range of fine dining and wine matters, they bring to the table humor and intelligent conversation, perfect for the midday listener. The show includes discussions and interviews with famous chefs, restaurateurs, wine and food writers, critics; and the Guys even give stuff away occasionally.
