Leslie Kelso's Claret Punch
- 1 cup superfine sugar
- 3 cups freshly squeezed lemon Juice
- 1 cup white curacao
- 2 cups brandy
- 3 bottles CHILLED red wine (Mouton Cadet is a good choice)
- 1 quart sparkling mineral water
- 1 large block of ice
- Dissolve sugar in lemon juice and pour into punch bowl with a large block of ice.
- Garnish with fresh seasonal fruits.
